The courses currently offered by the department :

1. MA in Ancient India History, Culture & Archaeology (MA-AIHCA) (2 Years Program)

2. Post Graduate Diploma in Museology (1 Year program)

3. PhD Program primarily in Ancient Indian History, Archaeology

As per the latest guidelines from UGC all the courses are divided into six monthly semester system. The MA-AIHCA course has 4 Semesters and the PG-Diploma (Museology) has 2 Semesters.

Each semester includes 

          a.) 5 mandatory subjects (3 unit tests and a final exam)

          b.) An Assignment (Topic provided by the department)

          c.) A Seminar Presentation (Topic provided by the department)

          d.) Practical file submission and comprehensive viva (No. of Practical varies in each semester)
